Disinfection of Protective Masks
Christof Industries contributes to responding the CORONA crisis in the event of a shortage of protective masks with sinTion.
In view of the need to urgently reuse protective masks, particularly in hospitals, Christof Industries delivers one sinTion for disinfection of such masks to the Styrian hospitals free of charge. Extensive tests in reprocessing high-quality protective masks – with protection classes FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3* – have been carried out successfully in the past few days. This significantly contributes to meet the supply for the hospitals.
sinTion – produced in Styria by Christof Industries company Christof Systems – has been sold already for the last three decades and is successfully in operation in 18 countries around the world. The sinTions underlying process is evaluated and approved by renowned German Robert Koch Institute as disinfection procedure.
According to the test results, 100 masks can be prepared for re-use every hour!
The device was set up at the central sterilization facility in the University of Graz.
